22-zone system with different sources for each zone. Operation should be possible in each zone. The client put great emphasis on a sustainable system.

Great difficulties to use a conventional matrix system due to great cable lengths (up to 150 m in some zones). Thanks to an existing network infrastructure, implementation was easy with Dante^® and MondeF.

The production halls have been equipped with conventional 100 V systems combined with a Dante^® AVIO adapter connected to the amplifier.

The system has recently been extended: projector and microphones as well as a 23rd zone for the conference room have been added.

For more than 100 years, Van Raam has been a manufacturer of special bicycles and tricycles for adults, senior citizens, young people and people with disabilities. Van Raam bicycles can be found all over the world, with a focus on most of Europe and North America. Nothing is produced on stock, each bicycle is made-to-order.

In January 2019, Van Raam moved to the company building at Guldenweg 23 in Varsseveld, Netherlands. Since then, Van Raam has continued to grow and the present building is going to be too small soon. Thus, Van Raam has started to build a new building right next to the large company building which will also accommodate Van Raam's service department. A new PA system must, of course, also be included.

The central MondeF zone network audio server MDF-1632Z has been installed at the reception which is able to receive every radio station required in the different zones.

In addition, it is possible to send broadcasts or (scheduled) audio clips to the individual zones from here. The system can also start and stop the playback automatically in the required zones.

Source and volume can either be selected via the central touch screen or local control panels MDF-CON6. The control panel MDF 6CON fits into existing switches and can therefore easily be combined with the light control or the control of outdoor blinds.

Both audio transmission and control panels in the zones use the existing LAN network. Thus, the customer was able to save quite a few kilometres of cable and its installation.

The factory halls have been equipped with Dante speakers WALL-05DT and 100 V speakers EDL-430/WS. Every amplifier receives its audio input from the MondeF/Dante network. The canteen features its own 100 V mixing amplifier to which additional local sources such as microphone, beamer and TV have been connected to. The daily background music is provided via the MondeF/Dante network.

It is also possible to send the amplifier's audio mix back to the MondeF streamer via Dante. This allows you to create a separate source and play the mix in other zones. You can save a lot of time during installation by using Dante products as well as a lot of copper when combining them with 100 V amplifiers which can be positioned close to the zone instead of being installed in a central audio rack.
