PA-8125DX and PA-4500DX – the next generation of MONACOR's DX amplifier series
With the PA-8125DX and PA-4500DX, MONACOR is introducing two new, powerful models in the DX series. Both multifunctional amplifiers are equipped with state-of-the-art DSP technology, offer flexible control options, and have been specially developed for professional installation applications.
The new multifunctional amplifier PA-8125DX – powered by PASCAL – is the logical next step in the evolution of MONACOR’s successful DX amplifier series. With selectable output power of either 8 x 125 W at 4 or 8 ohms, or 4 x 250 W for 100-volt systems, it offers maximum flexibility and reliability for modern audio installations. Class-D technology ensures high energy efficiency – ideal for multi-zone applications that require continuous operation with minimal maintenance. A temperature-controlled fan guarantees quiet performance and, along with comprehensive safety features, provides dependable overload protection.
The new PA-4500DX is designed for installations that require higher power per zone. With 4 x 500 W at 4 Ω, 4 x 400 W at 8 Ω, or 2 x 1,000 W at 100 V, it provides enough reserves to reliably power even large rooms or powerful speakers. Like the PA-8125DX, this model also has extensive DSP options and can be conveniently configured via LAN or WLAN. Four zones can be controlled individually, and integrated protection circuits ensure safe operation at all times.
The integrated DSP module includes parametric equalizers, various high/low-pass filters, compressor/limiter functions, delay, and talkover options. In addition, FIR filters can be configured individually for each output, and a 5-band equalizer is available for each input. The signal processor is controlled via an HTML5 user interface accessible through any standard web browser.
